Hi, anyone know how I can waterproof raku pottery?

Raku should not be used for vases or similar objects and it definitely should not be left outside in freezing temperatures.

However, Thompson's Water Seal can be used to provide a fairly good degree of waterproofing. If there are through-wall cracks in the piece (which raku often has) then it may be more difficult.
